Position Overview:
The Associate Optometrist will be at the forefront of delivering full-scope, ethical eye care services. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct ethical, full-scope eye exams using advanced technology.
- Diagnose and treat ocular conditions while ensuring optimal patient care.
- Prescribe and fit eyeglasses and contact lenses.
- Mentor and guide staff members while upholding our core values.
- Align all work-related decisions with our mission and vision to ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For:
- Doctorate in Optometry from an accredited institution.
- Active Rhode Island State Optometry License (TX RX Amplified Glaucoma & Controlled Substance Registration).
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- A desire to work in a positive, patient-focused environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and work with PPE as required.

We are a well-established, primary care optometric practice serving the central and southern RI community, with our main location in Coventry and a second in Chariho. We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate Full-Time Optometrist to join our team. Part-time can be considered as well.
- Perform routine and medical eye exams.
- Office equipped with Optos Daytona, Humphrey Visual field, and OCT
- Diagnose and manage ocular disease
- Prescribe corrective lenses and manage contact lens fittings
- Competitive base salary with production able to make up to $250,000

New OD Volunteer Opportunity: Lions Sight Clinic of Rhode Island located at CPS Optix 200 Tollgate Rd Suite 202 Warwick, RI, A Full Eye Exam Lane of Equipment was acquired through a matching Grant of the Lions Clubs International Foundation and the Rhode Island Sight Foundation. Please Let me know if you have availability
Volunteer Clinics are typically 4 hours in length. The Days Available are Monday 9-5 Wednesday 9-5 Friday 9-1 and Saturday 9-1 Preferred but Saturday Afternoon is possible.
The first clinic was held on February 7th and the second clinic will be held on Monday March 9th.
